Car Leasing with Maintenance Packages

For those looking to combine their motoring outlay into one monthly fee, adding a maintenance package onto your lease agreement could be a great option to consider. A maintenance contract covers servicing, MOT and routine wear and tear items, giving you both peace of mind and cost savings over the agreed term.

It is no secret that motoring can be costly. Here at Britannia Car Leasing, we are here to help you find the best possible car leasing deals on the market.

We have optional maintenance packages for customers who prefer to have all their servicing and MOT costs combined into one handy monthly cost.

So, should you pay the extra for a maintained lease deal? Well, whether you pay for the optional package or not, the vehicle will still need to be maintained over the duration of the agreement in line with the manufacturers requirements.

Having a maintained agreement is available for the peace of mind it provides as there are no hidden surprises or unsuspected costs involved.

Did you know that a maintained lease agreement covers you more much more than routine servicing and MOT costs? So, what is included with our maintained agreements?

What a maintenance package doesn’t cover.

There are of course also exclusions to what your maintenance package will cover. These are:

  • Repairs or replacements due to driver error or fault. Plus any damage as a result of collision.
  • Repairs or replacements due to abuse, neglect or vandalism.
  • Incorrect or inadequate fueling, lubricant or other fluid top ups between service intervals.
  • Missing or damaged items or components.
  • Repairs or replacements under an insurance claim or where fraud is suspected.
  • If you exceed your annual mileage you will be liable for an excess mileage charge. This will be charged per mile that you have exceeded your limit and the figure will be clear on your contract documentation.
  • Insurance - We can however provide a quote for a car lease with insurance here.

How do I pay for a vehicle lease maintenance package?

The payments for your maintenance package will be structured in the same way that your main vehicle lease is. The total cost will be divided into a monthly fee and this will be subject to the same profile you have chosen for your lease.

For example, if your vehicle lease is on a 9 + 35 term, you will be expected to pay 9 payments upfront followed by 35 further monthly payments for your maintenance package. These payments will be taken as a part of your lease and will be incorporated into your total monthly quote and breakdown.

A maintenance package allows you to incorporate the costs of maintaining your vehicle into your monthly lease payment. It gives added reassurance, on top of the standard manufacturer warranty that accompanies your lease, that your vehicle will be working in optimum condition without pulling on those precious purse strings.
